Hannelore Fehse, Schwäbische Alb – Architektur und Landschaft, Städtische Galerie Albstadt 2015/2016
Die Ausstellung stand im Kontext der Spezialsammlung „Das Landschaftsbild der Schwäbischen Alb“
innerhalb der Städtischen Kunstsammlung in Albstadt.
Seit nunmehr 20 Jahren stellt die Künstlerin Landschaft und Architektur der Schwäbischen Alb
ins Zentrum ihres Werkes. Dabei geht es ihr nicht nur um den Anteil der Natur, sondern
insbesondere um Formen der Architektur als kulturelle Äußerung der Menschen der Alb,
die zu einem Bestandteil des Landschaftsbilds geworden ist. Die klar-nüchterne Ästhetik
der Albhäuser spiegelt sich in der auf das Wesentliche reduzierten Tektonik von
Hannelore Fehses Gemälden – konstruktiven Flächenbildern als spezifischer Ausdruck

´Losgelöst von Alltagsdetails, die sich heute in den Vordergrund drängen, kristallisiert
Hannelore Fehse mit ihrer Malerei eine ästhetische Kulturleistung heraus. Es liegt an uns, die
eigene Wahrnehmung und das eigene Tun von diesem Sehen in die Pflicht nehmen zu lassen.`

Hannelore Fehse. The Swabian Alb-Architecture and Landscape, Municipal Art Gallery Albstadt 2015/2016
The exhibition was related to the special collection “The Landscape View
of the Swabian Alb” within the municipal art collection of Albstadt.
Since 20 years now the artist is positioning landscape and architecture
into the centre of her work. She is not only concerned with the part of
nature, but particularly with the forms of architecture as cultural
expression of the people of the Alb, which have become part of the
image of the landscape. The simple unemotional aesthetics are reflected
by the tectonics of Hannelore Fehse’s paintings, which have been reduced
to the essentials – constructive paintings as specific expression of a
cultural landscape.
